Senior Management Accountant

Job Description

Overview / Responsibilities
Amec Foster Wheeler has an opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant. There is an increased thrust to deliver our services for the growing Southeast Asian market. As a result of this, Accounting Department operation is expanding and evolving to manage the challenges of regional projects that continue to pose challenges in offering our services through a global talent pool.
Prepare company monthly financial and management reports
Prepare Financial Data for Hyperion
Interpret the Company’s financial results and recommend improvement activities
Create PowerPoint presentations summarizing the results of analyses and present the results to Management
Prepare the reports required by Amec Foster Wheeler Group and region with analysis by co-ordinate with other functions
Establish data collection process in all functions in order to ensure good and enough data quality for making analysis jobs
Coordinate with other functions to gather the sensible information to support analysis
Develop and implement management warning/ monitoring systems in key areas or high business impact areas such as Key OH spending, Capital spending
Coordinate and support risk profiling and internal and external audit exercise / process to comply group standard and requirement and reduce company business risk and good governance
Play a major role in develop budget, forecast and 3-5 years plan
Create forecasts of future business conditions using multiple scenarios
Analyze variance (Volume, Price and Mix) between Budget vs Actual and Reforecast vs Actual
Review and recommend different types of investments based on risk and return analysis
Coach and develop a team

Skills / Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or higher in Accounting
3-8 years of corporate financial or operational audit experience or financial analysis
Professional Qualification (e.g. CPA) would be an added advantage
Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills
Proficient in interpreting financial results and business indicators to identify and analyze trends
Expertise in computer abilities (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
Highly responsible and strong team player and able to work independently
Good English communication skills
Comfort dealing with ambiguity
Detail-oriented, fast-learner, and committed to meet deadline
