Technologist – Piping Engineering Designer

Responsible for this position may include but not limited to
– Ensure all engineering design and specifications are correct according to Chevron Engineering Standard.
– Responsible for piping engineering layout and detailed design as per assignment.
– Experience with Pipe Stress Analysis (Caesar II)
– as MOC (Management of Change) owner to complete MOC package, create MOC action items and close out MOC package as per Company guideline.
– Coordinate material delivery and deliver work packages to construction team and works with them for fabrication and execute offshore installation in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
– Monitor and control project progress and expenditure for responsible projects.
– Provide on-site supervision during installation, hook-up and commissioning of responsible projects as needed.
– Provide direct support to Capital Project Team on any project tracking matrix.
– Coordinate with IT and work as administrative roles for any IT Tools supporting Capital Project team.
– Coordinate and manage process modification projects or installation of new facilities in support of ongoing operations in the Gulf of Thailand.
– Follow Chevron Project Management System, responsible to complete all deliverables for assigned projects.
– Responsible for project work scope, project schedules, cost estimates, select contractors/suppliers, material take off and tracking.
Required Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering i.e. Mechanical, Process, Instrumentation, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
– 3-8 years experience in Oil&Gas or related industry.
– Good command of spoken and written English.
– Experience in AutoCAD and Caesar II.
– Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office tools.
– Abilit to work under a limit deadline and capable in project management
– Demonstrated success delivering technology-based solutions to business with proven value generated.
– Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
